Troubleshooting Parkwood's YouTube channel

    How to access a livestream

Our livestreamed worship services take place on Sundays at 10:00 AM EST. About an hour before the service, a video file is created that counts down to the time the service is set to "go live", and a link to that service is normally posted on out home page (parkwoodchurch.ca), our "news & coming events" page and our "recent bulletins & recorded services" page (both in the dropdown menu under "news").

If for some reason the link isn't present on the home page or the others, try this link. You should see the live stream as the first video in the list on the page that opens when you click on the link, which will open in a new window, enabling you to toggle back to this page for further instructions if this one doesn't work.

If you still don't see it, you'll have to do some exploring. On the YouTube channel page, in the top menubar click on VIDEOS (if you're not on that page already). Then on the line below, click on the small down arrow beside Uploads. The choice there will depend on when you're accessing this page - you should see
        · "Upcoming live streams" if the service has not yet begun; click on that to get in the queue
        · "Live stream in progress" if the service has begun; click on that to join the service in progress

We hope one of those worked for you. Because the options "Upcoming live stream" and "Live stream in progress" are only visible when the livestream is about to happen or happening, this page is necessarily a work in progress - the actual wording of the two terms may differ.
